pimple care treatment

No matter what you call it, Pimple is the most discussed skin problem in the world. People brought up the most fantastic names for this skin disorder. Zits, spots, blemishes, pustules, goobers, whiteheads and my favorite; the plaque. How’s that for a problem that hasn’t killed anybody yet.

Teenagers are most likely to get Pimple and statistics show that almost 80 percent of all young people will suffer from an Pimple breakout at some point in their live. It doesn’t matter if you are a boy or a girl, man or woman. Pimple is impartial to gender. However, the more serious forms of Pimple occur more in young men.

We all have hair follicles and sebaceous glands. Nothing serious about that but it is right there where Pimple is “born”. We don’t know what happens in those glands and follicles that causes the outbreak of Pimple. What we do know is that it starts as a combination of blocked hair follicles and the sebaceous glands reacting on that by producing an oily stuff called sebum. Just add a couple of dead skin cells blocking the pores, throw in a couple of bacteria and we have the right conditions for a genuine Pimple outbreak.

In the medical world it is believed that Pimple and the events causing it relate to a couple of factors. Hormones increasing the oil production is one of them. Parents or other family having a tendency to develop Pimple is another.

Medication may trigger Pimple. Physical factors, like stress, can also create the perfect conditions for Pimple to occur. What about food I hear you think? Be in for a surprise. Greasy food is not a cause for Pimple. Nor does it make it worse. But before you head out to your favorite fast-food restaurant remember, a diet of French fries and pizza is not the foundation for a healthy lifestyle.

And another thing. Picking you spots does make your Pimple worse. So leave them alone till they decide the party is over and leave by themselves.
